As a child, Nestor was well behaved. By age 12, he began hanging out with the wrong crowd. His heart became hardened and the love and respect he once had for his parents went out the window. He formed his own gang leading him to a lifestyle disconnected from God and family.
In 1990, at age 19 on December 4 at 8:45 p.m. he had a radical encounter with God. As he gave his life to the Lord, Nestor’s hardened heart was replaced with an acute sensitivity for God and people. He began preaching seven months after his conversion and baptism. And the rest is history.
In 2006, he discovered his life purpose. Nestor describes this personal encounter as “being born again, one more time.” This event led him to becoming a certified professional life coach to help people live with identity and purpose.
In 2013, a mission trip to Argentina with Gateway’s Global Ministry changed his life and family dynamics. He ministered at a Messianic congregation for the first time. The Lord revealed to Nestor that his ignorance and indifference toward Messianic Jewish brethren was a form of anti-Semitism. Impacted by the experience, he led his family to diligently seek and learn about the Jewish roots of Christianity.
To deepen his understanding, Nestor enrolled and completed all three levels of MJBI’s Messianic studies. Previously, Nestor and his wife, Dina, earned a Doctor of Ministry in Theology from Vision International University of California. They have been married for over two decades and have two daughters, Gianna and Nathalia, who study at The King’s University in Southlake, Texas.
Along with his family, Nestor enjoys imparting understanding to the Body of Christ in key areas of life: Purpose, Family, and Jewish Roots. Nestor’s life is an example that God’s love transforms, equips, and empowers to live life with identity and purpose.
