Breathing is not proof that one is living… it simply indicates that one is alive.
Living is more than breathing just as communication is more than waiting for your chance to talk.
So, are you living or just breathing? It’s very easy to go through life following a meaningless and purposeless routine…just going through the motions without being fully present or engaged, feeling unsatisfied and unfulfilled.
Are you happy with who you are? Are you happy in this particular season of your life?
Living is about accepting and enjoying every aspect of ourselves and our lives; purposefully and meaningfully applying ourselves to all we do; facing each day with focus and passion for the things we want to accomplish in life; failing, yet not considering ourselves a failure; Not being better than someone else, but better than we were yesterday and depositing something of great value in someone’s life.
As you can see, this requires a little more than just “breathing”.
