Have you noticed how quickly time goes by?
When entering a new year, there is great anticipation about newness. Unfortunately, just a few weeks into the new year the excitement can wear out. For some, just getting by the past the previous year was an accomplishment in itself. People get filled with hope desiring for the new year to be different. After all, it’s a “new” year.
When the excitement of newness dissipates, what do we do about it? How do we stay motivated?
Where do we get the inspiration to carry on and to accomplish your goals?
Here are two simple steps to stay motivated.
1. Check Your Progress
It’s a good idea to check your progress periodically. Write your weekly/monthly/yearly goals and keep them in front of you. How on track are you? Do you need to make any adjustments in your time, activities or priorities?
2. Know You’ve Got the Power
All of the motivation and inspiration you need to take action and to move forward is more readily available to you than you may think! In fact, it’s all bottled up inside you.
